From the firm’s chronicle

The business was founded in March 1966 by Walter and Paula Gentner, and Karl Kerling, and then traded as Gentner + Kerling OHG.
The head office was at Veitsaurach Nr.16. 3 years later the firm moved to the new premises at Veitsaurach Nr. 65.

At the end of 1981 the firm’s founders W.u.P. Gentner and Karl Kerling parted, and the present firm Gentner GmbH was created.

Since 1992 the firm has been continued by the second generation, Brigitte Kellner (née. Gentner ) and Klaus Kellner.

During the years 2000 until 2003 part of the firm moved from Veitsaurach to Barthelmesaurach where new premises for production and management were created on a site ca. 14000 square metres in area.
